- ¿Qué creeis que es lo más importante en un equipo?
Tener una buena relación con los otros jugadores ya que pasas mucho tiempo con ellos y también trabajar unidos.
- ¿Cuál fue la razón que te impulsó a jugar a baloncesto?
Kaloyan Ivanov: Primero tenía que jugar a voley y un día mientras lo practicaba me vió un entrenador amigo de mi família y me dijo que el baloncesto se me dava mejor que el voley y me impulsó a jugar.
Sergi Gladyr: En casa me impulsaron a jugar.
- ¿Cuáles son tus mejores cualidades como jugador?
Kaloyan Ivanov: Yo contaré las cualidades de Sergi y él contará las mías.
Sergi es un impresionante tirador de 6,25, muy atlético, ràpido y defiende con corazón. Es muy buen compañero.
Sergi Gladyr: Ivanov hace de todo, coge el balón vaya donde vaya. Es muy buen reboteador.
- ¿Cuantas horas entrenas a la semana? Cuántos días?
Normalmente entrenamos cuatro horas o quatro y media al día. Depende de la semana, si hay partido en sábado, el domingo o entre semana.
- Do you do doping tests?
Yes, they write a letter about all the medicin that we take during the week.
- Do you think there’s doping in basketball?
In my team not, because if they catch you, you can’t play for two years. There’s a control, at every match all the players must pee in a bottle and write what they have eatten before going to the match and a doctor does the analysis.
- What are you doing in your free time?
Kalovan Ivanov: I have a girlfriend and I go to Barcelona with her.
Sergy Gladyr: I never stay at home, because it’s difficult when you’re alone. I go to visit Barcelona and some other cities.
- When you are walking down in the street, people know you?
Sergy Gladyr: Yes! In Manresa everybody knows us, because everybody knows Suzuki Manresa.
- In which teams have you played before? How long have you played in each team?
Kalovan Ivanov: I have played for two years in Bulgaria, one in Russia, one in Menorca and now I’m here, in Suzuki Manresa
Sergy Gladyr: I have played in Ucranian and Suzuki is the second team.
- Which language do you usually speak with the other players? And with your coach?
Sergy Gladyr: I speak english and sometimes spanish with the other players.
Kalovan Ivanov: I speak english with american players and spanish with the spanish ones.
We speak spanish with the coatch but sometimes Sergy has to use a translator.
